Our store may be dubbed the ‘House of Wax’ these days, but we are still going to market other interesting bits and pieces we find, especially if they are independently produced and not commonly available. Here’s a couple of our latest additions that are both well worth a look.
Firstly, we were contacted recently by that lovely fella, Billy Wells, asking if we would help market his latest self published memoir. Anyone that already knows Billy, knows of his colourful life and legendary tales of globetrotting and motorcycles in equal measures. Billy grew up in South London in the Fifties and by the early Sixties was a fully fledged ‘ton-up’ merchant frequenting the bikers caff’s from London to the South Coast. Cafe Racer? Yes he’s the real deal. ‘Racing in the Street’ The Early Years’ is a great look back at those days from someone who was there, telling it like it was. We’re honoured that Billy is letting us market the book for him, and incidentally, we also hope to soon have his first book ‘Snapshots from the Hippy Tail’ which covers his fascinating travels East during the hippy years. It’s also a great read. Find it listed under ‘More Cool Stuff’ in the store.
By way of a contrast, but still with a totally retro vibe, we here at Harmedia, recently got together with pin-up photographer Tony Nylons to co-produce the fourth edition of his ‘Glimpse Magazine’. Featuring another stunning set of lovely lingerie models and some cool cars from some VHRA members,, this issue has been themed as the ‘Vintage Hot Rod Edition’, I mean seriously, what’s not to like? 46 pages, all colour, you can’t go wrong.
Both publications are available in the store right now, we always send out by First Class post but customers outside the UK please contact us for shipping prices.
Additionally, Glimpse is available at a wholesale prices for re-sllers, please message me for details.
